Yosemite
Bus Tour
Exceeding
Expectations for attendees arriving on Tuesday was a tour of
Yosemite National Park on Wednesday. We picnicked on the
Valley Floor and saw all of the highlights including El Capitan, Half
Dome, and Glacier Point. Thanks again to our terrific guide, Jerry!

19th
Hole Reception
Another CMAC tradition! The CMAC 19th Hole Reception gains
popularity at every conference. A great time to celebrate golf
wins, a great time to catch up with friends, old and new, and a great
time to network with our supplier members!

Education
Program Chair ANDY
BRYANT and his committee put together an excellent program. The keynote speaker
was T. GREGORY GRAY, founder and president of
Renaissance Unlimited, Inc. Greg presented The 93% Rule... Exceeding
Expectations through
understanding what people really listen to... Other
expectations included presentations on efficient turf grass irrigation
for water conservation by an environmental horticulturist, a
multi-member panel, and sales and marketing. G.V. AYERS, Policy Chief of
the Cemetery and Funeral Bureau was on hand to answer questions. STEVE
FARNETH, a principal with the San Francisco architectural firm
Architectural Resources Group, and an expert on the topic of ADA and it’s
architectural impact, especially on historic buildings,
reviewed the basics of ADA and discussed access issues related to existing
cemetery grounds, mausoleum and columbaria. Following
dinner on Thursday, we heard a talk by Park Ranger ROBERT FRY. His
talk, entitled The Three Wonders of Yosemite; The Valley, The Big Trees,
and The High County, included a slide presentation.
